A Circa Guide to Bel-Nor
Bel-Nor is a northern suburban village in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The events that were the basis for the 1971 novel and 1973 movie The Exorcist have a connection to the village of Bel-Nor. The Village of Bel-Nor Missouri is located in Mid St Louis County. The population in July 2009 was 1,478 residents. Natural Bridge Road and St Charles Rock Road form the southern and northern boundaries of Bel-Nor. The Normandie Golf Club, an 18 hole golf course and the oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi River, is located in Bel-Nor. Two higher education institutions lie within the boundaries of the Village of Bel-Nor: the all girls Catholic high school, Incarnate Word Academy and the University of Missouri-St Louis campus which partially lies within the boundaries of Bel-Nor.
