Biography

Moving - even for the happiest of reasons in the best of times - is rarely simple. It's got a lot of parts, each with their own timing and a few risk factors. A move can also be part of other kinds of life transitions, with their own sets of emotions and complications. If it's been a while since you've bought or sold a home, you're a first time buyer, down-sizing, or moving out of state, I'm here to help you find the perfect place for the next phase of your life. Whether it's the dream house that tells the world you've arrived...a quiet retreat where you can step back, take stock and plan your second act...the space that fits your empty nest...or the nest you're just starting to feather. Whatever the reasons for your move, I'm here to make it easier. By choosing me to assist in the sale or purchase of your home you will receive:

  • A full-time real estate professional
  • Capable negotiations are at the core of my business
  • A passionate commitment to top quality service
  • Extensive knowledge of St. Louis' wonderful neighborhoods
  • A thorough understanding of the St. Louis market
  • Effective and consistent communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to helping my clients however I can

I bring an ease to my clients through careful planning, solid relationships with quality contractors and consistent follow through.

Easing the process is just the start. Today’s real estate environment calls for a non-traditional approach. My services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Using fresh approaches to marketing, I’m able to reach a wider pool of potential buyers and sellers than the traditional agent.

To maintain the highest standard of service, I continually seek knowledge and information, as evidenced by my designation of Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI). In the current real estate market I sought a certification of Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) in order to be able to competently serve any client who may potentially need that service.

I specialize in the St. Louis Central Corridor. Cities included in this area are University City, Clayton, Ladue, Webster Groves, Kirkwood and the Central West End.

Within the community, my position as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with the City of St. Louis CASA program (now called Voices for Children) has been the most challenging and rewarding volunteer work I’ve done. If you’re curious, I’d love to tell you more about it. As a young adult, I moved to Washington, DC where I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. Some say that was great preparation for raising two children! Since returning to St. Louis in 1990 I’ve lived in the central corridor for over 17 years. It’s been my privilege and good fortune to travel to several countries. That travel has increased my appreciation and love of St. Louis as my home base from which to explore the world. Call or email me with any of your real estate needs or questions. I am here to make your move easier!
